	Sign-In  Register            Ms. Cain Hello everyone! My name is Amy Cain and I am excited to begin my 4th year of teaching at Cypress Springs High School. I graduated from Sam Houston State University in 2017 with a Bachelor's Degree in Interdisciplinary Agriculture and a minor in Secondary Education. I look forward to seeing our students take advantage of everything the FFA has to offer. In high school I was very involved with New Caney FFA. During my time there I served as a District FFA Officer and Chapter FFA Officer. I competed on the Agricultural Issues LDE Team and the Livestock Juding CDE Team. I also raised pigs and heifers for various livestock shows. I was able to receive several scholarships because of my involvement with the FFA and I look forward to seeing our students do the same! A common misconception is that when students sign up for an ag science class then they are signing up for "FFA Class." Remember FFA is a separate organization from your ag class. In class students will learn about various topics depending on the class. FFA gives students the opportunity to put the knowledge and skills they are learning in class to use!
